On May 9, 2024, at approximately 3:10 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at a residence in the 16300 block of Orick Avenue in Victorville, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Stephanie Santacruz suffering from a gunshot wound; she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
