On June 2, 2024, at approximately 7 p.m., Sacramento police responded to reports of a shooting on the 3400 block of 33rd Street in the Oak Park neighborhood. Upon arrival, officers discovered 53-year-old Herbert Edward Ballwin suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
