On June 9, 2024, at approximately 12:20 a.m., Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of Fulton Avenue and Hurley Way in the Arden-Arcade area of Sacramento, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Sacramento resident James Roseman suffering from a gunshot wound in a shopping center parking lot that includes establishments such as a 7-Eleven, 24-Hour Fitness, and Pizza Guys.
