On June 19, 2024, in Hesperia, California, 34-year-old Ashlee Bogdanoff was found with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle near Summit Valley Road and Foley Road. Her husband, 34-year-old Ethan Biroczky, had called authorities around 6:00 p.m., reporting that his wife was injured and needed assistance.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered Bogdanoff in critical condition. She was transported to a trauma center but succumbed to her injuries the following day.
