Patricia Ann Deerr, 68, female, died after a double shooting that unfolded just before dusk on May 20, 2025, in a quiet Hesperia neighborhood. Deputies were called around 6:44 p.m. to the 18800 block of Madrone Street, near Sheffield, where they found two people down in a driveway. Carlos Gonzales, 60, a longtime Hesperia resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
