On June 21, 2024, at approximately 7:20 p.m., 38-year-old Juan "Tony" Garcia was fatally shot on a Metro E Line train at the La Cienega/Jefferson station in Los Angeles. The incident began with an altercation at street level involving Garcia and a group of individuals.
