On July 24, 2024, shortly before midnight, Fresno County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at a residence near West Mount Whitney and Garfield Avenues in Riverdale, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old Isaias Lopez of Coalinga suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite immediate first aid efforts by deputies and EMS personnel, Lopez was pronounced dead at the scene.
