On August 9, 2024, at approximately 5:30 a.m., 27-year-old Peter Maldonado was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 200 block of North San Gabriel Avenue in Azusa, California. The car, which belonged to his mother, was riddled with bullet holes. First responders transported Maldonado to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
