On August 20, 2024, David Ramirez, 43, was fatally shot in San Leandro, California, during a confrontation with his ex-girlfriend, 36-year-old Analleli Garcia-Mejia. The incident occurred at a residence on Carolyn Street, where the two had previously lived together. Garcia-Mejia sustained a gunshot wound to her leg during the altercation.
