On September 26, 2024, at approximately 9:45 a.m., Napa police responded to reports of a shooting in the 700 block of Lincoln Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals with gunshot wounds outside an apartment complex: 38-year-old Georgina "Gina" Padilla, a Napa resident and mother of three daughters, and 54-year-old attorney Ralph Andino III from American Canyon. Despite immediate life-saving efforts, both were pronounced dead at the scene.
