On September 27, 2024, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Redwood City police responded to reports of gunshots in the 1600 block of El Camino Real. Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male victim had been transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim was identified as 35-year-old Jorge Daniel Gomez, a resident of Redwood City.
