On September 28, 2024, 36-year-old Raul Barajas was fatally shot in San Pedro, California. The incident occurred near an El Pollo Loco restaurant, where Barajas was reportedly seated in a vehicle when an occupant of the same vehicle shot him. Emergency responders transported Barajas to a local hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
