Death by Force

On September 30, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 25-year-old Rafael Saldana was fatally shot while working as a security guard at East L.A. Greens, a marijuana dispensary located at 6170 Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, two male suspects entered the dispensary during an attempted robbery, during which Saldana was shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
