In the early hours of October 14, 2024, at approximately 2:50 a.m., the Baldwin Park Police Department received a 9-1-1 call reporting gunshots in the 13800 block of Kenmore Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jesse Hernandez, a 46-year-old resident of Baldwin Park, lying in the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper chest. Emergency personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at approximately 3:04 a.m., but Hernandez was pronounced deceased at the scene at 3:2 ...
