On October 27, 2023, Patrick D. Clark, a 45-year-old male, and Lorenzo N. Perry, 55, were involved in an argument that tragically ended in both of their deaths. The incident unfolded outside an apartment complex in the Cheatham Place housing area.
The disagreement between Clark and Perry is believed to have
stemmed from a disagreement over payment for automotive repair work that Clark had performed for Perry. The verbal argument quickly intensified, leading to a brief physical altercation between the two. In the heat of the moment, both men drew revolvers and fired at each other. Emergency services were called to the scene, and both men were transported to a local hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
