In a tragic turn of events on the evening of November 4, 2024, Demario LeBronze Hill, a 22-year-old male from Clarksville, Tennessee, was fatally shot in Nashville. The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 p.m. on Delmas Avenue, near Gallatin Pike. Officers found Hill inside a vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to Skyline Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries the following morning.
Initial investigations by homicide detectives suggested the shooting may
have stemmed from a drug transaction involving Hill and three other men. The suspects, described as three Black men, were reported to have fled the scene in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck. The Metro Nashville Police Department urged the public to come forward with any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of those responsible for Hill's death.
The investigation into the murder of Demario Hill led to significant developments in the following year. In November 2025, Metro Nashville Police arrested 23-year-old Keylando Green in connection with the fatal shooting. He was indicted by a grand jury on charges of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and attempted especially aggravated robbery.
Shortly after Green's arrest, a second suspect, 24-year-old Keshon Woodard, was also charged in Hill's death. Woodard, who was already incarcerated on unrelated domestic violence charges, was indicted on the same charges as Green: first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and attempted especially aggravated robbery. Authorities stated that the investigation was ongoing as they continued to pursue leads to identify the third individual involved in the deadly encounter.
