On January 11, 2024, a shooting in the Parkway Village area of Memphis, Tennessee, resulted in the death of 27-year-old Lashun Falkner. A Black/African American male, Falkner was discovered with a gunshot wound to the back of his head. Another man was also injured during the incident.
