Known as an 'awesome kid who always brought a smile to everyone's face,' Jo'zie was a second-grader who had a passion for life and sports, including football, basketball, and soccer. He was a cherished member of the Dayton Little Eagles football team.
The circumstances of his death led to a swift investigation by the Rhea County Sheriff's Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Their efforts resulted in the arrest of Christion Hamilton Jones on Friday, January 19, 2024. Jones was identified as the older brother of the young victim.
