On the evening of January 29, 2024, the life of 45-year-old Eric Eugene Patterson, a White male, was tragically cut short in what authorities have described as a domestic-related shooting at his home in the Medford community, just outside of Rocky Top, Tennessee. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call around 5:30 p.m. reporting the incident on Cedar Lane. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Mr.
Patterson deceased at the scene.
Born on November 19, 1978, Eric was known by those who loved him as a family-focused man with a big heart who enjoyed being outdoors and riding 4-wheelers in the mountains. He was remembered as someone who was always tinkering with something.
