In the late hours of March 8, 2024, a promising young life was cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. Gregory T. Manning II, a 20-year-old Black male, had arranged to meet with an acquaintance at the Villas of Metro Center on Ponder Place to record a song. He arrived at the apartment around midnight, hoping to pursue his musical ambitions. As the night progressed, more individuals joined the gathering, and the atmosphere within the apartment shifted.
