In the quiet community of Hohenwald, Tennessee, the life of 68-year-old Van Franklin Cates, a white male, was tragically cut short on April 12, 2024. On that Friday morning, emergency services were dispatched to his residence on Mt. View Road following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Cates deceased from a gunshot wound.
