Alan Matthew Ragsdale, a 32-year-old male police officer with the Hohenwald Police Department in Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on November 27, 2000. Officer Ragsdale was responding to a silent burglary alarm at a local motorcycle dealership when he encountered the suspect.
