On the evening of September 25, 2024, at approximately 9:43 p.m., Chattanooga police responded to a reported shooting at 903 Forest Dale Lane in Hixson, Tennessee. Upon arrival, officers discovered 20-year-old Lataivus Keyon Moore, known to family and friends as "Tay-Tay," suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. Moore was promptly transported to Erlanger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
