On January 2, 2023, at approximately 4:05 p.m., 20-year-old Nykye Smith was found with a gunshot wound to the head in the 400 block of Robinson Street in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania. First responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.
