Wesley Wayne Smith, a 21-year-old Black/African American male, was killed late on April 17, 2023, after a violent confrontation inside the Walnut Arms Apartments on the 400 block of Walnut Street in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. Although he was described in official and news reports as being from Philadelphia, he was in Lansdale that night visiting his girlfriend, Hailee Duerson Skeleton, at her apartment.
