On July 12, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded in Pittsburgh's Brighton Heights neighborhood, resulting in the death of 35-year-old Darkale LaShay Bonner. The events began with an altercation among children at the Jack Stack Pool, which escalated and culminated in gunfire approximately 100 yards away near Brighton Woods Road.
