On October 26, 2023, at approximately 11:16 p.m., 46-year-old Legious R. Minder Sr. was fatally shot in the parking lot of Chubby's Market, located at 154 W. St. Joseph’s Street on Easton's South Side. Minder, who was reportedly selling t-shirts at the time, was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The Northampton County Coroner's office ruled the death a homicide.
