On September 13, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., Harrisburg police responded to a reported shooting at a residence on North 14th Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 38-year-old Thomas "Buddah" Davenport III on the first floor, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. Emergency medical services pronounced him dead at the scene.
