On the evening of September 26, 2024, a burst of violence shattered the tranquility of Collingdale Park, leaving a young man's life extinguished. Naushad Khan, a 26-year-old male, was fatally shot near Jackson and Hibberd Avenues in the Delaware County park. Emergency responders rushed to the scene around 11:15 p.m., but their efforts were in vain; Khan was pronounced dead from his injuries.
