In the early hours of January 29, 2023, a tragic incident unfolded at Southside Johnny's, a gentleman's club located at 6400 West Market Street in Greensboro, North Carolina. At approximately 2:55 a.m., Greensboro police responded to reports of a shooting at the establishment. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Among the victims was 36-year-old Cedric Cantrell Monroe, who succumbed to his injuries, marking the incident as a homicide.
