On February 3, 2023, 21-year-old Qua'Jhaun Tylef Callands, known as "Quaddy," was fatally shot in Bethel, North Carolina. The incident occurred near West Jefferson Street and Chatham Circle, a residential area in Bethel. Emergency responders arrived promptly, but Callands succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
