On May 14, 2023, at approximately 12:30 a.m., 31-year-old Shaniqua Nechelle Colvin was fatally shot at a residence on Trumilla Drive in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Responding to reports of a shooting, deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office arrived to find Colvin deceased at the scene.
In the initial stages of the investigation, authorities sought two individuals for questioning: 40-year-old Tiffany Elvoiress Bordeaux Hines and 48-year-old Willie Eddie Bristol, both residents of Fayetteville.
Subsequently, Hines was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder in connection with Colvin's death. She was detained without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center.
As the investigation progressed, a warrant was issued for Bristol on charges of accessory after the fact to murder. As of September 2024, he remained at large, with authorities actively seeking information regarding his whereabouts.
