Upon arrival, officers discovered 65-year-old Debra Susan Fink suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Debra's son, 25-year-old Donald Ryan Fink, on June 15, 2023.
He was charged with one count of murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon. Authorities have indicated that this was an isolated incident, posing no ongoing threat to the public.
Debra Fink was born on September 24, 1957, in Bossier Parish, Louisiana, to Donald and Dorothy Fink. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy, and two sisters, Brenda Duhon and Terri Norman, along with their families. A private family memorial service was planned to honor her memory.
