On June 17, 2023, at approximately 6:00 p.m., Union County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Clark Street in Wingate, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they found 43-year-old Shaun Marquiso Sturdivant suffering from gunshot wounds.
