On June 17, 2023, at approximately 1:40 a.m., Greensboro Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting at the Choice Extended Stay located at 110 East Seneca Road in Greensboro, North Carolina. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Eric Wayne Miller Jr. suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite prompt medical attention, Miller succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
