Upon arrival, they discovered a car engulfed in flames in the center lane, with an unconscious individual inside. After extinguishing the fire, authorities identified the deceased as 35-year-old Dedrick Lee Wooding.
Further examination revealed that the vehicle had been struck by gunfire, leading investigators to classify the incident as a homicide.
The circumstances surrounding Wooding's death remain unclear. Reports indicate that he had sustained gunshot wounds; however, the exact cause of death has not been conclusively determined. A second vehicle present at the scene exhibited damage resulting from the initial collision, but its involvement in the shooting incident is uncertain.
