On the evening of September 19, 2023, Greensboro police responded to a distress call reporting a stabbing and gunshot incident at a residence on Hargett Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 44-year-old Luegina "Gina" Carlane Ingram and her husband, 48-year-old Tanena "T" Devon Ingram, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Tragically, Luegina was pronounced dead at the scene, while Tanena was transported to Moses Cone Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
