On November 24, 2023, 30-year-old Elijah Edward Timmons III was fatally shot in the parking lot of Orchard Bar & Grill in Hendersonville, North Carolina. Responding to reports of gunfire around 2:40 a.m., police found Timmons with a gunshot wound to the head; he was pronounced dead at the scene. A firearm believed to belong to Timmons was recovered nearby.
