On January 11, 2024, in Yadkinville, North Carolina, 12-year-old Kaylinn Ann Cave was tragically killed in a murder-suicide incident involving her father, John Kincaid "Kinney" Cave. Authorities responded to a welfare check at their residence on Friendly Road, where they discovered signs of a fire. Upon entering, they found both individuals deceased, with evidence indicating that John Cave had fatally shot his daughter before taking his own life.
