On April 14, 2024, at approximately 5:52 a.m., deputies from the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Levi Road in Rowland, North Carolina. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Lydia Ann Hoyos deceased inside her home from apparent gunshot wounds.
