On the night of October 26, 2024, 29-year-old Davicia Annie Jean Lee was fatally shot at a Cook Out restaurant located in the 1500 block of South Miami Boulevard in Durham, North Carolina. Deputies from the Durham County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunfire shortly after 10:30 p.m. and found Lee deceased at the scene.
