On an August evening in Atlanta, Georgia, the life of 28-year-old Tammy Robinson, a mother of four, was tragically cut short. On August 28, 2010, Robinson was at the Grant Park Commons in the southeastern part of the city when violence erupted. She had been sitting on a bench with a friend when they sensed trouble brewing and decided to head back to her apartment. As they were walking, shots rang out, and Robinson was struck in the face.
