On December 30, 2023, 28-year-old Julien Tyre Walthour was found fatally shot inside a vehicle at the intersection of Avenue D and Bauman Street in Rochester, New York. Responding to reports of a stationary car in the roadway around 8:15 p.m., Rochester Police officers discovered Walthour slumped over in the driver's seat, having sustained at least one gunshot wound to the torso. Despite immediate first aid efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
