On March 13, 2011, Kenneth Eatmon was found dead in the rear parking lot of 1005 Virginia Avenue in Hapeville, Georgia. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported that Eatmon had been fatally shot. Witnesses mentioned seeing two black males arguing near a truck with an attached empty trailer just before the shooting occurred.
