In a quiet home on Chevis Road in Savannah, Georgia, a grim discovery was made on April 7, 2011. Police, responding to a call about an unresponsive man on a porch, entered the residence to find the bodies of 31-year-old Thomas Joseph Smith, a Caucasian male, and 46-year-old David Medina. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, launching a double homicide investigation that would leave a community with more questions than answers.
