On April 7, 2011, 31-year-old Thomas Joseph Smith was found dead in a home on Chevis Road in Savannah, Georgia. Smith, along with 46-year-old David Medina, was discovered by police responding to a report of a man found unresponsive on a porch. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene, and police quickly launched an investigation into the double homicide.
