In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in Savannah, Georgia, the life of Gregory Williams, a 42-year-old man, was brought to a violent and tragic end. On June 7, 2011, just after 2 a.m., an altercation inside his two-story duplex on the 300 block of West 32nd Street concluded with the sound of gunfire.
