On October 20, 2024, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Albany police responded to reports of a shooting at 260 North Pearl Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 49-year-old Mohammed X. Poquee with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Albany Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
