On February 7, 2023, at approximately 6 p.m., Bellefontaine Neighbors police responded to reports of gunfire in the 800 block of Surrey Lane in Saint Louis, Missouri. Upon arrival, officers discovered 27-year-old Denzel Williams inside his residence, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
