Amy Ellison, a 27-year-old pregnant mother, was tragically shot and killed in her home on March 6, 2012, in Girard, Georgia. Her body was discovered by one of her young daughters in the hallway of their residence on Brigham Landing Road. Ellison, who was expecting her fourth child, was found in the early morning hours after what authorities believe was a targeted attack. Investigators have speculated that she may have responded to a knock at the door during the night before being fatally shot.
