On February 2, 2024, 32-year-old Anthony Jefferson, a local musician and event host known professionally as 'Ant Gee,' was killed in a shooting incident in St. Louis, Missouri. Jefferson had spent the evening hosting a party at the H2 Bar and Grill located on Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in the city's Kingsway East neighborhood. As the event concluded and he was leaving the venue around 1:00 a.m., he became the target of what authorities later described as a planned, sniper-style attack.
He was struck by gunfire outside the establishment and was subsequently pronounced dead.
Investigators determined that the shooting was not a random act of violence but rather a targeted strike stemming from an ongoing personal feud. The nature of the attack suggested a high degree of premeditation, as the perpetrators appeared to have been lying in wait for Jefferson to exit the club.
